Students transferring to Holy State University
Educational Credits Transfer
Generally, transfer of any number of credits will not be affecting any program costs because our educational costs are structured as costs per Program. Exception will be applied only for Associate and Bachelor's degree programs, where student already completed significant number of credits in other educational institutions, and only if such credits are relevant for the current study program.
Acceptance of educational credits from other institutions is strictly within our discretion and we can reject any credits from any educational institution for any reason.
Transferring students must provide copies of diplomas (if degree programs were completed) and academic transcripts from each educational institution they previously attended and contact information for these institutions. All documents must be in English language or translated into English language, unless exempted by our representatives (visit page: "Admissions" - alternative methods for translations).
All potentially transferable credits are evaluated only after the admission. Evaluation of educational credits is a time-consuming process.
After the evaluation of educational credits, student receives all or partial credits for the completed courses already taken in other educational institutions.
All transferred courses/credits will be reflected in the Academic Record (Academic Transcript) as courses/credits transferred from other educational institutions.
Credits Transfer processing fee applicable for Bachelor's and Associate degree programs (payable after the admission) is $250 per each academic year, regardless of the number of transferred credits.
Credits Transfer processing fee applicable for Master's and Doctoral/PhD programs (payable after the admission) is $250 (one-time fee), regardless of the number of transferred credits.
Transferring to Undergraduate Programs
Transferring to Graduate/Postgraduate Programs
Master's, Doctoral and PhD programs are NOT falling into the same rules as undergraduate programs. Our fees for graduate / postgraduate programs are already low and we are not offering any costs reductions for the completed courses (received credits) in other educational institutions.
How to Make a Transfer
1. Please send us a letter by e-mail describing your previous education background, educational institutions attended and contact information, and your desired area of studies. Attach copies of documents confirming all educational degrees and/or credits received in other educational institution(s).
2. Attach Application for the Admission.
