Our 100% Online (distant education) School of Business offers Accelerated Business Degrees that are based on university-level educational programs awarding degrees for studies in business related subjects. This school fully interconnected with our School of Management and School of Leadership. All study courses are interchangeable. Doctor of Business Administration or PhD (Doctor of Philosophy) degree in Business Administration?

Both degrees are doctoral degrees and are similar.

Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) is a professional doctorate based on studies and research concerning business and business-related matters applicable to professional practice, as used in day-to-day business applications.

In our place, this program can be completed WITH or WITHOUT preparation of Dissertation / Doctoral Thesis. Study courses based on given to student curriculum and courses will have assigned number of credits.

Doctor of Philosophy in Business Administration (PhD in Business Administration) is a doctoral degree that is placing more attention to the research and development of the new knowledge and other theoretical applications. This program only can be completed WITH preparation of Dissertation / Doctoral Thesis. Usually, PhD program has combination of the study courses and preparation of the Dissertation.  

In many European countries, PhD program can be completed based on successful preparation of Dissertation that must be accepted by the examining Committee.  

We are offering all applicable standards (American and European); therefore, our students can obtain PhD degree based on successful preparation of Dissertation that must be approved and accepted by our examining Committee. Students also can complete PhD degree by using classic approach consisting on combination of study courses and preparation of Dissertation / Doctoral Thesis.

Graduate Certificate Program

Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study (CAGS)

 

Student must complete at least 15 credits (US system), or 30 credits (European evaluation system).

 

A Certificate of Advanced Study (CAS), also called a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study (CAGS) or a Certificate of Advanced Professional Studies (CAPS), is a post-graduate academic certification program designed for practitioners who seek a continuing education program to enhance their professional development.
