Cost of Education in the Holy State University
The Holy State University offers the lowest costs, fastest, easiest and simplest ONLINE education. Our University is distance learning (correspondence) institution of higher education where education accomplished by modern form of Internet communications. Our students can perform studies in any educational degree: Associate, Bachelor’s, Master’s, MBA, Doctoral, Ph.D. There is no need for any travel. You can study at the Holy State University, save money and be free from any student loans.
Many universities (in U.S.) are charging students up to $50,000 U.S. Dollars (on average from $15,000 to $35,000) per each academic year (!), but in our place, costs are negligible. In many places only one credit hour (not a semester or course, but only one single credit/unit), may cost to student more than entire year of studies in the Holy State University.
The best feature of education in the Holy State University is the fact that student pays only very small portion of tuition costs (simply negligible amount representing administrative fees) comparing to most other private universities (accredited and not-accredited). Graduates of the Holy State University are people that are free from the burden of exorbitant loans that most other students are facing in other universities. Our fees are not tuition costs, but mandatory administrative fees (we do not have tuition costs/charges).
The Holy State University offers to students similar form of education as many others are offering, but only for the small fraction of costs that charged in other universities.
Our University operates without any commercial motives and we are not creating any profits (with our lowest costs); all collected proceeds are used for educational purposes. Considering the fact that we are not supported financially by any unrelated to us government, we cannot offer any form of additional scholarships. Our very low costs can be compared to instant scholarship.
Strictly speaking, our education is free because we are not charging anything for education, but obviously, we have many operating costs and we are not receiving any support from any government (comparing to many U.S. private and public universities receiving millions of dollars in form of grants from the U.S. government and from local states; and comparing to universities in some countries where taxpayers' monies are used to offer free, or reduced cost education for citizens). Therefore, we are requesting certain reasonable levels of mandatory donations (administrative fees) that entitle student to complete study courses.
From time to time, we are getting requests for a full scholarship (totally free education). Please be advised that we DO NOT HAVE FULL SCHOLARSHIPS because our Educational Costs are already one of the lowest. Our Administrative fees are not a tuition costs, but something we need to collect from attending students to secure existence of the Holy State University. Even words "administrative fees" or "fees" are only hypothetical expressions used for easy understanding. To apply exact description, all fees are educational donations - in exchange, student attends, studies and receives degree from the University.
Please note that Academic Year is different from calendar year. Each educational year for the degree program has designated number of credits received after successful completion of required courses. Student may request to use 30 credits per year (also called in our University "North American System") or 60 credits per year system - we call it "International System" (see our section "Educational Credits"). Number of academic study-hours are identical with any of such systems. If student lives in the country that uses 60 credits per year educational system, it would be helpful for student to use the same approach in our University (because use of 30 credits per year system would create confusion in future, when graduate will start looking for job in his/her country).
Therefore, to apply equal cost (assessed fees) per academic year, we are using COST PER ACADEMIC YEAR approach (administrative fees applied for each academic year expressed in the number of required credits), which is the same with 30 credits or 60 credits per year system. In both systems number of study hours per year is identical. 30 credits per year system would not give any financial advantage.
Educational Costs (Administrative fees) of the Holy State University
Our costs reflected and payable in the United States dollars
Expression "Payments in the United States dollars" has no meaning that you must have actual United States dollars. This means that during payment, you just indicating that payment must be received in the United States dollars, but you are using your own monetary currency (currency of your Country).
PLEASE NOTE: Administrative fees are not additional fees, but the only costs. There are no additional tuition costs.
Student can pay in installments. Please read page http://holyuniversity.org/educational-credits.htm (this will give you some basic information about credits and our educational approaches).
Administrative fees are applied for each academic year (not for the entire program, unless we specified that administrative fee is for the entire program). For example, Associate Degree is two academic years program / Bachelor's Degree is four academic years program. Based on your speed of study, you can finish it faster, but acceleration of studies would not bring administrative fees down. Our work is the same, regardless if you completed bachelor's program in two years or four, we need to examine and process total number of credits for four-year program.
Example only, based on hypothetical administrative fee of $1,200 per year for undergraduate student
(for current fees, please see posted above chart)
Undergraduate student selected educational approach with 30 credits per year. Four-year bachelor's degree program would have 120 credits = $4,800 for the entire degree program in administrative fees ($1,200 x 4 = $4,800).
Student uses entire calendar year (365 days) to receive credits for one academic year (30 credits).
Same approach - 30 educational credits per year, but student wants to finish degree fast and studies double time. Student wants to receive 60 credits per year, instead of regular 30 credits per year. Administrative fees are based on the number of credits received. In this case, because student studies and receives 60 credits per year (instead of 30 credits per year), student would be finishing 4-year academic program in two calendar years. Therefore, administrative fees would be twice more - $2,400 per calendar year, because student accelerating studies and completing TWO ACADEMIC YEARS in ONE CALENDAR YEAR. Explanation is simple - you are paying administrative fees for the number of credits you are receiving.
The same applies in any approach. For example, instead of 30-credits per year, student prefers to use 60-credits per year approach. In this case, it would be 240 credits per entire 4-year program, but administrative fees are exactly the same $4,800 ($1,200 x 4 = $4,800) – student studies less hours for each credit, student receives twice more credits. Everything is the same, including total number of study hours and amount of administrative fees (4-year program = $4,800 in administrative fees for four years of educational process: $1,200 x 4 = $4,800).
About possibility of monthly payments
We only have administrative fee applied to the number of credits required for each academic year. For example, at present time it is $1200 (US) for each academic year for bachelor’s degree (does not matter if you would finish academic year in 6 months or in a few years). We are aware that not all people have the entire amount at the beginning, and because of that, people can start studies and can make monthly payments of the same amount (not some additional payments, but it is still the same $1200, but divided into monthly payments).
There are NO additional monthly fees for making monthly payments. It works in the following manner. You may pay $1200 (US) for each academic year in one payment, or if you do not have entire amount – you may divide $1200 into monthly payments.
Before submission of first payment, please send us completed Application that has a list of all educational institutions attended: starting from your secondary education (high school), all colleges and universities. Do not include any life-experience universities. Provide full official name of each educational institution, exact location, dates of attendance. If your educational credentials are acceptable, we will ask you to submit a payment. All educational credentials would be verified. Please provide only correct and truthful information [submission of false information may result in forfeiture of your payment(s) and can create other applicable penalties].
When you are ready to make a payment (after your application conditionally approved), whether it to be for administrative or other fees, you may use one of the following methods:
1. By using credit or debit cards. Please be advised that if your country is not listed on the countries list of our credit card processing company, you can make payments by listed below methods,
2. By check (bank check or money order mailed to our bank – this may take long time),
3. Bank-to-bank transfer/wire transfer. Usually, to perform wire transfer, person can do it in any bank (sometimes without having account in the bank), or by using other financial institutions. For each payment made by wire transfer, you must add additional $17 U.S. to any required amount (this is what we are paying to our bank, but sending bank also collects additional fees from sender). To reduce wire transfer costs, it would be more economical to pay all required fees in one payment. If you are paying total amount in one payment for a year, or for the total program fee (for short programs), we are not requiring adding $17 for each wire transfer.
4. We also can accept Western Union and MoneyGram payments (only for payments in full, or at least of 50% of the total amount).
Some other forms of funds transfer can be considered on case by case basis.
We also may accept third party payments made on student's behalf (for example, paid by your employer, friends or relatives).
Student can pay in full or with progress of studies (can be paid in monthly installment payments). First payment can be as low as 1/12 of the total amount of administrative fee per year, with following proportional payments (plus application fee, if applicable).
Please Note that we are honoring the fees that we are offering to potential students at the time of submission of application and making initial payment. If for some reasons we would increase our fees, our student pays only the amount that was posted on our website at the time of making initial payment.
All payments must be made in the United States Dollars (usually student uses own currency that converted to U.S. Dollars during submission of payment - just tell your bank what currency you want to use).
If student prepaid/overpaid fees in advance, then any unused portion may be refunded to student if for some reasons student decides to terminate studies (with deduction of fee for processing refund and the cost of refund transaction). Payments are not refundable for services that already received.
