Cost of Education in the Holy State University
Please note that Academic Year is different from calendar year. Each educational year for the degree program has 60 educational credits received after successful completion of required courses if we use 60-credits per year system (also called in our University "International System"), or 30 credits per year if we use 30-credits per year system (also called in our University "North American System"). In both systems number of study hours per year is identical and cost is based on academic year cost. 30 credits per year system will not give any financial advantage because cost per credit will be higher. Yearly cost must be divided by number of credit to receive cost per credit. Person can start education at any time and extend Academic Year for as short as 6 month, or as long as a few Calendar Years, but payments are made on the basis of academic year. Educational credits in the Holy State University: Upon request made by student we can use 30-credits per year or 60-credits per year system. When we tell that our academic year has 60 academic (educational) credits, we never meant that our students need to spend more hours for study comparing to students from universities with 30 credits per year system. Commonly used 30 and 60 credits per year educational systems are in fact identical. Only difference is that in 30 credits per year system, student spends 45-50 hours for study for each academic credit. European educational credit system and American system, both are using approximately identical number of academic hours per academic year. In the United States universities are counting academic year as completion of 30 educational credits (Semester Credit Hours), where each credit considered to be as student's study work during 45-50 academic hours. According to Bologna Process (used often in Europe) academic year consists of 60 educational credits, where each credit considered to be as student's study work during approximately 25 academic hours. Total number of academic hours per academic year is the same in both systems. This explains the fact that during evaluation of North American education for the use in European Union, number of educational credits received in the United States are multiplied by two. Acceptance of student's study course will result in issuance of 6 educational credits (3 credits issued in 30 credits per year systems). If course is short, lesser number of credits will be issued. Our costs (mandatory reasonable donations for the founding Church) reflected in the United States dollars. Cost of receiving education in the Holy State University at present time: We can change tuitions at any day or time. If you like what you see, we suggest to submit application (if it takes long time for you to complete an application form, you can pay application fees first to reserve the same cost per year and submit application later. If you are enrolled, you will have the same cost for tuition until graduation (some exceptions apply).
I Academic year in the Holy State University is not a calendar year and we count completion of 60 (30 credits if 30-credits per year system used) educational credits as completion of academic year, regardless if person completed academic year in 6 months or in a few years. For professional courses that have only a few credits requirements, cost per each credit is equal of division of the cost per year to the number of credits (30 or 60 credits per year systems). Each registered student has ability to reduce costs of education - see our section "Free Education". Some additional administrative charges may apply (such as admission fees, graduation fees, etc.). Tuition costs can be changed at any time, but each student may receive the came cost per academic credit /year until graduation date. All costs (levels of required donations) listed above are subject to change at any time. If you are already enrolled, listed above levels of donations may apply until your graduation date, but if we reduced our cost of education, student will be paying at applicable reduced rate (but it would not be prorated for already processed payments). DONATIONS ARE NOT REFUNDABLE AND MOST LIKELY ARE TAX DEDUCTABLE AS DONATIONS TO RELIGIOUS ORGANIZATION, or as educational expenses (see our section "U.S. Tax Benefits for Education"). Benefits of educational system in the Holy State University How fast you can study? Our answer is, as fast (or as slow) as you want. In the Holy State University, your Academic Year can be as short as 6 month, or as long as a few Calendar Years, it is up to you. Please note that you are not paying for calendar years. If it takes for you 3 years to complete 60 (or 30) academic credits (required for each academic year), you are not paying for 3 years of tuition fees, but you are paying only for 1 academic year costs (because our year is academic and counts only after receiving 60 (30 credits with North American System)credits by student). If you managed to complete 60 credits in 6 months, you are paying the same cost per academic year (not 50% less), because in 6 months you completed requirements for full academic year (received 60 academic credits). We have no additional charges for students that want to study fast, just our minimal regular costs (see section "Cost of Education"). Calculation of academic year: In compliance with Bologna Process, we are using 60 credits per year academic year system (upon request we can use 30-credits per year system), which is similar to 30 credits per year system used in many U.S. universities and colleges. At present time, some progressive U.S. universities are also switching to 60 credits per year system that makes U.S. educational system equal to European Union system (for universities that adopted rules of Bologna Process). Number of study hours (academic hours) are identical in both approaches, the only difference is that more credits are issued for the same courses of study when 60-credits per year system is used. See our section "Educational Credits". Each student must spend on average 1500 academic hours (academic hour is 50 minutes) per year for study (independent study in our university). The same number of hours per academic year applies equally regardless if students are studying in universities using system with 30 or 60 academic credits per academic year. 1500 academic hours are equal to 1250 astronomical hours (regular hours). If student will study 8 regular hours each day, then he/she can complete 60 academic credits (academic year requirement) in approximately 160 days, that represents about 5.5 months. Obviously, in usual circumstances, it is not easy to study eight hours each day, but nevertheless, it is possible for dedicated individuals.
